Petur collected us from the overnight flight and organized breakfast so we could regroup and head directly to the Fagradalsfjall volcano to observe the eruption. We hiked up and had a perfect vantage point to watch the flow of lava. Petur took us on tours to the Golden Circle, the Husafell area and a super fun morning of fishing near Reykjavik. Petur was helpful on all the details of our trip - finding a guide in the Akureyri area, the perfect hotel on the south coast, getting a covid test in Reykjavik, the list goes on!

I had an amazing day fishing with Petur, he was super knowledgeable about the river and area we went to. He provided a friendly and great learning experience which can be rare to find in other guides. He showed me all the best fishing areas on the river as well as provided the best flies to fish with at that time. I am happy to say that we caught sea run brown trout which is a fish species I specifically came to Iceland to catch.
